Coach Realtors Acquires Morton M. Haves Inc. and Expands Market Territory

Coach Realtors of Long Island is pleased to announce the acquisition of Morton M. Haves Inc, located in Hewlett, New York. The acquisition expands Coach Realtors’ market area along the south shore region of Nassau county known as ‘the five towns’. Morton Haves, Inc. was founded in 1947 by Mr. Haves. Mary Cooper, Mr. Haves’ daughter, is the current owner and broker.

(The five towns are an informal grouping of the villages of Lawrence and Cedarhurst, the hamlets of Woodmere and Inwood, and "The Hewletts", which consist of the villages of Hewlett Bay Park, Hewlett Harbor and Hewlett Neck and the hamlet of Hewlett, along with Woodsburgh and North Woodmere)

"We believe that this acquisition benefits Coach by allowing us to work with an incredibly dedicated team of highly professional real estate associates who have a strong commitment to, and knowledge of, the area. We in return will provide Mary Cooper and her team more of the tools and resources required to meet client expectations in this very competitive and increasingly changing real estate market." stated Mr. L.P. Finn, COO of Coach Realtors. "We are proud to welcome Mary Cooper and the sales associates of Morton Haves, Inc into the Coach family."

The broker of record, Mary Cooper, and 15 other sales associates will continue to operate from their current location at 1315 Broadway, Hewlett. This location will become Coach Realtors’ 19th branch office.

"I look forward to an exciting new future and continuing the legacy of the company my father founded over 60 years ago. I see great opportunities for our excellent sales team to expand professionally and enjoy the many benefits that Coach Realtors has to offer" stated Mary Cooper. "Also, gaining access to Christie’s International Real Estate, Coach’s real estate affiliation, puts us head and shoulders above our competition in the markets we serve. This was the best move for us, our clients and customers, by far."
